Providing Hope to a Fearful Generation
In a world filled with worry and confusion, kids need to know there is a God who cares for them. At Emerald Crossing VBS, they’ll journey through Ireland’s lush landscapes, exploring the powerful words of Psalm 23. They’ll discover the life of the shepherd-king David and will learn how to cross from worry to peace, from fear to faith, and from uncertainty to a firm foundation in God’s Word through a relationship with the Good Shepherd.
Get your passport ready for Ireland and join the adventure!
Beauty and adventure await us each day at Emerald Crossing, where lads and lasses will gather at the Emerald Isle Assembly—a high-energy beginning that includes lively songs, a mission moment, and prayer. Then they’re off to rotate through four fun sites: Flock Talk Bible Time, Still Water Snacks (we will serve the children dinner), Green Meadow Games, and Celtic Corner Science & Crafts.
The Animal Pals that we will be learning about are, Mia the Sheep, Guide the Border Collie, Shadow the Raven, Pesky the Woolly Aphid, and Shirley the Highland Cow.
We strive to make this a fun and memorable time for these kids! Follow our Facebook page at Albia Road Baptist Church Ottumwa to watch for more information about our 2026 VBS!!! Registration and check in is from 5:25pm-5:50pm daily.
